Build a high-strength isolation barrier.
Hyperseal Thermoset Resin is a two-part epoxy system that polymerises exothermically to create a high-compressive-strength plug for isolation and barrier-restoration applications.
How it works
Field results depend on more than material properties. Resin programmes are engineered placement and curing operations that consider density, fluid compatibility, injectivity, target depth, pressure limits and acceptance criteria. Density can be weighted to sit above existing completion fluid.
Where it is applied
- Sustained casing pressure / micro-annular channelling
- Poor cement
- P&A assurance
- Engineered isolation plugs
- Selected tubing/casing or pack-off remediation where resin is part of the approved method

ASAP & BEDIDI cement-plug leak rectification
Genting Oil Kasuri Pte Ltd · ASAP & BEDIDI, West Papua
Two barrels of resin plug were successfully injected via macaroni string and cured under surface pressure for 24 hours. No pressure build-up was recorded after treatment.
Bunga Kekwa sustained casing pressure rectification
Hibiscus Malaysia Limited · Bunga Kekwa Field, Peninsular Malaysia
Hyperseal injected 2.5 bbl of resin, equivalent to approximately 12 m of plug, and cured it under surface pressure for 24 hours. Post-treatment pressure build-up was reduced to a manageable level.
Guntong resin-plug rectification
ExxonMobil · Guntong Field, Peninsular Malaysia
One barrel of resin was successfully squeezed. The treatment reduced circulation rate, pressure build-up rate and leak-off rate, supporting the next PWC operation.
Discuss an application
The correct technology depends on leak geometry, communication path, accessible volume, pressure conditions and deployment method.
