Rectify

Restore the barrier.

Every leak is different. Hyperseal Synteg delivers engineered sealing solutions selected for the leak path, pressure regime and acceptance criteria — restoring integrity without treating every failure the same.

Well Integrity Challenges

Different leaks.
Different solutions.

Leaks and integrity issues can occur at multiple locations for different reasons. Hyperseal Synteg engineers the right solution for each failure mechanism, helping operators restore barriers and return wells to safe and stable operation.

Common failure mechanisms

  • Wellhead & packoff leaks
  • Control line leaks
  • Safety valve leaks
  • Tubing leaks
Well cross-section showing where leaks can occur, from the wellhead down through casing, cement and the packer
  • Sustained casing pressure (SCP)
  • Casing leaks
  • Poor cement / annular communication
  • Packer / tieback leaks
  • Subsea / P&A

Our Rectification Technologies

Engineered materials. Proven performance.

PAS

PAS

Pressure Activated Sealant

What it does
Seals the leak path in situ when activated by pressure differential / shear force, while remaining material stays liquid.
Where it fits
Active leaks across wellheads, hangers, pack-offs, control lines, safety valves, packers and tubing/casing paths.
Why it’s different
Targets the leak rather than filling the entire accessible volume indiscriminately.

TAS

TAS

Time Activated Sealant

What it does
Polymerises and cures under pressure to fill the affected area and form an energised sealing body.
Where it fits
Applications that need a curing seal — wellhead/conductor leaks, hangers, packers, connections and SCP micro-annuli.
Why it’s different
Time- and temperature-controlled crosslinking for a solid seal where liquid PAS alone is not enough.

EX-103

EX-103

Thermoset Resin

What it does
Exothermic polymerisation creates a high-compressive-strength isolation plug for barrier restoration.
Where it fits
SCP / micro-annular channelling, poor cement, P&A assurance and engineered isolation plugs.
Why it’s different
Density and placement can be engineered to sit above completion fluid and meet acceptance criteria.

Vigor-HC

Vigor-HC

High-Viscosity Isolation Compound

What it does
Places a high-viscosity isolation barrier to block communication and support seal restoration in challenging geometries.
Where it fits
Subsea isolation, large leak paths, and cases where controlled viscous placement is required.
Why it’s different
Designed for isolation where thin liquids cannot hold position or seal volume.
