Problem & challenge
A multi-well surveillance campaign was required to determine tubing and production-casing corrosion, internal geometry, packer or tubing-body leakage, and flow behind casing.
Objective
- Determine corrosion status of production tubing and outer casing.
- Check internal tubing diameter condition.
- Identify tubing-body or production-packer leakage and flow behind casing.
Solution
Hyperseal deployed ALFA acoustic leak-flow analysis, MTD magnetic thickness detection and MFC multi-finger caliper logging as an integrated integrity surveillance programme.
Result
Leak / communication points and flow behind casing were identified and verified in six wells, with a clear picture of corrosion in tubing and production casing.
